Giveaways: The Extra Mile

 

The Extra Mile is the event of 2010 for fans of Lauren Talley and The Talley Trio. We have been praying and working now for a long time to find ways to find ways to expand our ministry, be more connected with all of you, and to offer more of ourselves to a world in need. God asks us to "go the extra mile", and we are inviting you to go there with us.

On March 20th, we will gather in Pigeon Forge, TN, at the Ramada Smoky Mountain Convention Center for an all day and evening event designed to inspire you and us to:

  • Dig deeper into our life struggles and find the scriptural answers
  • Find and acknowledge the Power we possess as Christians to go farther in God's plan for our lives, and
  • Celebrate our ability to go that extra mile with the power of music.

The Extra Mile will begin with a short invocation hosted by Roger, Debra, and Lauren at 9:30 AM. Then…

  • 10:00-Noon - Dig Deeper (with Lauren Talley)
    To the outside world Lauren Talley appears to have the perfect life. Great family. Great career. Great voice. But struggle and hardship can interrupt any life and Lauren is no exception. In this session Lauren will discuss her own life struggles as chronicled in her new book Songs In The Night. She will reveal how she had to "dig deeper" into God's meaning for her life and how she found the scriptures that, over time, allowed her to reach down and go the extra mile.
  • 12:00 Lunch (box lunch provided)
  • 2:00 - 4:00 - Go Farther. (with Debra Talley)
    Over the past 30 years, Debra Talley has been a "go to" person for hundreds (thousands?) of women attempting to balance their roles as mothers, wives (including Pastor's wives), church workers, choir members, etc. She has been the listener, the encourager, and the teacher for women overwhelmed by all these tasks. She knows first hand from you and from her own life the difficulties of dealing with home, family, and ministry all at the same time. But she also knows the power available to all women and how to access that power to excel and go that extra mile with strength and a sense of accomplishment.

THE EXTRA MILE (daytime) is an Inspirational Event. There will be no "record table." Every participant who signs up for this event will ALSO RECEIVE:

  • An autographed copy of Lauren's book Songs In The Night
  • An autographed copy of the "Songs In The Night" CD
  • An autographed copy of the The Talley Trio's "Songs You Know By Heart" CD
  • A tote bag with "The Extra Mile" logo containing the above items.

(Have dinner wherever you would like in Pigeon Forge then return to the Convention Center for these TWO SPECTACULAR CONCERTS)

  • 7:00 PM "Songs In The Night" Concert. (featuring Lauren Talley)
    Lauren will engage and inspire you with the first ever live performance of her new CD. This is a very powerful set of songs chosen specifically as companions to the main themes of her book of the same title. This music soars like nothing you have heard before and will leave you enveloped with that strength that comes from the triumph over adversity. And you will hear it first.
  • 8:30 PM "He's Alive" Concert (featuring the Talley Trio)
    A full concert by the Talley Trio featuring many of your favorite songs including "He's Alive" and others from the new CD, Song You Know By Heart.
If you have ever wanted MORE time, MORE encouragement, MORE conversation, MORE inspiration, and MORE music from the Debra, Lauren, and Roger than is ever possible at a normal concert, this event is designed just for you. Join them for this life-changing extraordinary event.
